As a member of the Board of Trustees a great deal of travel and investment of time is required throughout service on the Board – including conference calls, email communications, participation on ad-hoc committees, Board work groups and other assignments as needed, at the request of the President. The time commitment varies depending upon the position, and Board members are expected to attend and fully participate in all scheduled meetings of the Board of Trustees.
Below is a sample of meetings that Board members are expected to attend based on their position. It is a general APA Board schedule, with other commitments that may arise during the Board term.
