Biological Psychiatry Hub

New for the 2026 Annual Meeting, biological psychiatry sessions will be co-located to create a more seamless learning experience and to underscore the central role this clinical content plays in advancing psychiatric practice. This focused approach makes it easier for attendees to engage deeply with cutting-edge science that bridges research and real-world care.

This Hub brings together sessions that explore mechanisms, biomarkers, neurodevelopment, and the cutting edge of psychiatric neuroscience. Expect smart post-session debriefs, theory-to-clinic translation, and a few friendly “prove it” debates—powered by the discussion prompts.

Some sessions include:

  • The PNEI Nexus: Multidirectional Interactions Between Alimentary, Humoral, Immunological, Dermatological, and Psychiatric Systems
  • In-depth Explorations of the Causes and Mechanisms Underlying Psychosis; Emerging Insights into the Genetic Basis of Mood and Anxiety Disorders
  • Empowering Your Practice: Home Neuromodulation Implementation One Device at a Time

Together, these sessions highlight the rapidly evolving biological foundations of psychiatry and their direct implications for diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes.
