Suicide Research Fellowships and Awards

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Young Investigator Grants

Grants support studies that aim to increase understanding of the causes of suicide and factors related to suicide risk or that test treatments and other interventions designed to prevent suicide. Young Investigator Grants of up to $85,000 over 2 years are awarded to investigators at or below the level of assistant professor, with an additional $10,000 ($5,000 per year) for an established suicide researcher who will mentor the Young Investigator.
