The Hispanics in Psychiatry Early Pipeline Program aims to expose undergraduates to the field of psychiatry while offering mentorship from some of the world’s leading psychiatrists.
The number of Hispanic medical school applicants decreased from 7.9% to 6.1% between 2011 and 2015. To address this challenge, APA has created an early pipeline program aimed to increase the number of Hispanic medical school applicants interested in psychiatry.
