Explore Sessions on Diversity & Health Equity at the 2024 Annual Meeting

  • February 28, 2024

Racial/ethnic, socioeconomic, and sexual minorities often suffer from poor mental health outcomes due to multiple sociopolitical determinants, including inaccessibility of high-quality mental health care services, cultural stigma surrounding mental health care, discrimination, and overall lack of awareness regarding mental health. Sessions in this track examine issues related to health equity and social determinants of health in the care of those with mental illness.
