Explore Humanities Educational Sessions at the 2026 Annual Meeting

  • January 01, 2026

Psychiatry exists at the intersection of science and the human experience.

The Humanities track at the 2026 Annual Meeting explores the emotional, cultural, and creative dimensions of mental health through film, literature, art, ethics, and narrative medicine. These sessions invite reflection, deepen empathy, and broaden the perspective through which we understand patients and ourselves.

Engaging with the humanities strengthens insight, resilience, and a deeper understanding of illness and healing in modern psychiatric practice.

To view the full list of sessions in the Humanities track at this year’s Annual Meeting, visit the Session Search, and use the "Search/Filter" feature to filter by track or topic: "Humanities".
