Frequently Asked Questions
U.S. and Canadian awardees receive a $1,200 stipend after successfully attending and participating in all of the required events. You do not need to retain any receipts for purchases as the stipend is not a reimbursement. You will be responsible for making your travel and hotel arrangements prior to the event.
After our staff returns from the Colloquium and Annual Meeting, we will begin to process the necessary forms. It can take up to eight weeks for the stipend to be received via direct deposit and longer if mailed as a check. Our staff will work to keep you up to date during this process and answer any questions you may have.
Track 1 participants are eligible to apply for Track 2, two years after they first participated in the Colloquium. This two-year gap allows early career psychiatrists to develop their research and advance their knowledge.
Participants are responsible for printing their posters prior to the Colloquium. You may print your poster through shipping and office supply businesses such as FedEx, Staples, Office Depot, and more.
