Medicare

In order to have Medicare Part D continue to cover your Medicare patients’ medications, you will need to be either enrolled in Medicare or opted out of Medicare before June 1, 2016. The sooner you take care of this, the less likely there will be problems this summer.

To enroll online, you can access CMS’s enrollment resources for PECOS:

For more information, you can visit CMS’s Part D Prescriber Enrollment website or contact your local Medicare Administrative Contractor. If you need more information, call the APA Practice Management HelpLine at (800) 343-4671.
