How do I register for the conference?

How much does it cost to attend the conference?

The conference is free to attend.

How much does it cost to claim continuing education credits?

All continuing education credits are free.

When is the registration deadline?

You can register before or during the conference.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

There is no need to notify APA if you cannot attend the conference. No refunds will be issued as it is a free conference.

Will the conference sessions be recorded?

Sessions will be recorded and made available in the SMI Adviser Education Catalog by early 2021. Each recorded session will be accredited for the same continuing education credit types as the live session. Opening/closing remarks and the Presentation of the Annual Larry J. Seidman Award for Leadership will not be recorded.

What are discipline-specific course completion requirements?

Participants who wish to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, CE credit for psychologists, CE credit for social workers, or a certificate of participation may do so by attending the live presentations and completing the evaluations. Participants claiming CE credit for psychologists and CE credit for social workers must have full attendance at a session to claim credit for that session.

How do I evaluate conference sessions?

For physicians claiming CME credit and individuals claiming certificates of participation, you will receive an email to complete an evaluation of the full conference at the conclusion of the conference.

For psychologists and social workers claiming CE credits, you will have access to evaluations immediately following each session, provided you have met course completion requirements (full attendance at individual sessions). In addition, at the conclusion of each conference day, you will receive an email with links to all outstanding evaluations.

How do I claim credit?

For physicians who wish to obtain CME credit, or for those who wish to receive a certificate of participation, certificates will be available at the end of the conference. After completing the conference evaluation, you will receive an email with a link to your CME or participation certificate.

For psychologists and social workers, CE certificates will be available for each session attended in full. After completing a session evaluation, you will receive an email with a link to your CE certificate.

How long do I have to complete evaluations and claim certificates?

Physicians, psychologists, and social work attendees must complete the discipline-specific evaluations and claim their credit certificates by December 14, 2020. Any attendees who wish to claim a certificate of participation must complete the evaluation and claim their certificates by December 14, 2020. Certificates will not be issued after December 14, 2020.
