Self-Assessment Activity

Meet your MOC Part 2 requirements in conjunction with the meeting by completing the online Self Assessment activity or attending a FOCUS Live! session in-person in New York City.

Paid Courses

Four-hour, clinically-focused content to equip you with practical skills to help you meet the challenges of daily practice. Attendance is limited. 22 paid courses are available at the 2024 in-person only meeting.

Paid Master Courses

In-depth, eight-hour, clinically-focused content to equip you with practical skills to help you meet the challenges of daily practice. Attendance is limited. Master courses are designed to broaden and enhance your professional skills and knowledge in special areas, and include applicable publications from American Psychiatric Association Publishing. Eight master courses are available at the 2024 in-person only meeting.

Virtual Paid Courses

Virtual-only attendees are invited to register for one virtual-only paid course during the virtual Annual Meeting. Virtual-only attendees are also invited for an exclusive first chance to register for four virtual course offerings taking place June-July 2024.

MindGames

MindGames, APA's national residency team competition, is a fun way for residents to test their knowledge on patient care, medical knowledge, and psychiatric history while earning bragging rights for their program. Come watch our top three residency programs compete in this Jeopardy-style event in New York City, and live-streamed for the Virtual-Only experience.

MindGames Masters

New for the 2024 Annual Meeting! A three-part, in-person educational experience that allows psychiatrists to assess their knowledge and learn more about five subspecialties in an engaging, fun, and competitive format.

The Mental Health Innovation Zone

The Mental Health Innovation Zone (MHIZ) in APA's showcase and catalyst for the advancement of technologies in psychiatry, is dedicated to answering the question “What’s next in mental health technology?” Join us in-person at the Javits Center in New York City for programming.

EduTours

Back for the by popular demand for the in-person Annual Meeting, attendees can register for an offsite educational excursion and learning experience. For 2024: a tour of Rikers Island Correctional Facility.

Learning Labs

Back by popular demand, the in-person meeting in New York City will offer Learning Labs. Learning Labs transform learning through collaboration, rich discussion and hands-on learning around issues impacting psychiatry. More details to be announced soon.
