To address the ever–changing landscape in technology in relation to mental health services, APA is hosting an Innovation Zone as part of the 2017 Annual Meeting experience.
The Innovation Zone is dedicated to answering the question, "What is next in mental health technology?" and serves as the premiere showcase and catalyst for the advancement of new mental health technologies.
What's next in technology?
The Innovation Zone is dedicated to answering this question.
Attendees at the Innovation Zone — located on the Annual Meeting exhibit floor — will engage with psychiatrists; CEOs and CMOs of technology companies; designers; key opinion leaders, and business strategists who wish to learn more about mental health. The Innovation Zone will be used by the attendees for idea sharing, friendly competition, imaginative business solutions, brainstorming sessions and app architecture that will transform the industry.
The Innovation Zone will allow attendees at every level to learn and network with leaders in the mental health technology space. With a focus on interactivity and networking, the attendee centered opportunity will include product demonstrations, lectures, panel discussions, listening and pitch sessions, and a "shark tank"-style innovation session.
This new featured experience at the Annual Meeting will allow attendees to become part of the next wave of technology enhancements and implementations in the mental health profession.
A platform to accelerate innovative ideas and ventures that aim to improve the delivery of mental health care.
