| The On-Line APA Membership Directory, located in the secure Member’s Corner section of the APA website, is being expanded to better serve your needs. This on-line membership profile update will allow you to change your contact, biographical and practice data as the need arises. The new and improved on-line directory will then make it easier to get in touch with other members, and to make dependable patient referrals using the most current and up-to-date information. |

| Your updated membership profile will also help APA in times of national emergency, for example, when it may need to marshal its member resources in a specific geographical location or identify members with experience in specific practice settings. The data also will be used to help develop programs and initiatives to meet members’ needs and to guide APA’s long-range strategic planning. |

| Our objective is to ensure an accurate aggregate demographic and practice profile of the APA and create a comprehensive representation of our members and the professional expertise they possess. |

| The membership profile update consists of four sections: contact information, educational and professional background, current practice and professional activities and individual information. At the end of each section of the update, you will be given the opportunity to indicate whether or not you wish to list some, part, or all of your membership profile in the secure, on-line APA Membership Directory. |
