Addiction Psychiatry

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Center for Substance Abuse Treatment recently awarded the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, the APA, and the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine a grant to provide buprenorphine training and clinical mentoring to physicians who wish to treat opioid dependence in an office-based setting.  APA members and physicians of all specialties are encouraged to take advantage of training opportunities and participate in the Physicians Clinical Support System (PCSS).
