General psychiatry residency training programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and the Royal College of Psychiatrists are eligible to nominate faculty.
Nomination Process
Nominations must be postmarked by September 1st and include a copy of the nominee's current curriculum vitae as well as the nomination form. The nomination letter must contain information documenting the candidate's specific and sustained contributions to resident education. Attention will be given to activities such as didactics, rounds, supervision, and excellence in difference settings - psychiatry emergency services, inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, and specialized settings. Prior acknowledgement of teaching awards and commendations are particularly helpful. A successful candidate should demonstrate 3 or more years of teaching residents at the recommending institution.
